| 5 Days until I leave for California, and then 7 until I leave for Beijing. It is crazy that I am actually going! I am so excited. I have been wanting to go for so long and it is so great that I am actually finally going! I have a ton to do before I go, however so that is no fun. I havent really started packing, I have a lot of ligistical details to work on, I have to do a lot of homework, and I need to spend time with friends and family!
I watched the movie, The Longest Yard, the other day by myself. I quite enjoyed it. I even did a little dancin to the music. good music. I am hoping to see My Super Ex-Girlfriend this week sometime before I leave. Maybe with Steph. We will see.
I went to the dentist for my last dentist appt on my parents' insurance. I am glad. I hate the dentist. It always hurts, makes my gums hurt, and i want to just bite down on the lady's hand moving around in my mouth. After I leave I want to go out and eat messy food that will make my teeth feel all gross-just so they dont feel so clean. I think that is kind of gross-but it is how I feel. |

| I'm in N. Waterboro Maine as we speak at my grandparents' cottage on Little Ossipee Lake. We have gone to the Ocean at York Beach, gone to the Nubble Lighthouse, and today we went shopping in Freeport, ME (where L.L. Bean is). I got me all kinds of Patagonia long underwear and smart wool socks so I am all set for Harbin. We will probably just hang out on the lake tomorrow. My grandparents' 50th Anniversary party is on Saturday!!! (So amazing-50 years of being married!)
Paul and Bethany's wedding was a lot of fun. Bethany looked so beautiful and we had a good ole time. (especially dancin at the rehearsal dinner adn reception!! we even got to do thriller!!) We went to the airport to say goodbye to Sarah on Sunday morning and that was sad (I also had to say goodbyes to friends). I really love my friends-they have been such a blessing to me. |

| 1 wedding video down, 1 anniversary video to go. I am quite furious at the MAC i'm using at the moment. there is not enough memory and everything keeps closing itself. I deleted all the render files and it is still to full. Ahhh. Stupid computer.
I am pretty busy. I have about 2 weeks home total before China. I am in Russ til next Wed when I go to Paul and Bethany's wedding in KC. I get back from KC on Sunday night then fly to Maine on July 4 for my grandparents 50th anniversary video. Get back to Russ on July 14, then fly out for CA on July 24, then for Beijing on August 1. I still have a lot to do before I go as well-packing, reading, papers, videos, appointments... Oh life is busy, but good.
I am quite excited about seeing friends at the wedding. I sure have been missing them. (though enjoying my time at home with jennifer, stephanie, and laura). I am also getting really excited about going to China. I have been reading about Harbin and China in general and it is exciting that I am actually going-scary-but exciting!!!
